I have submitted an application on your behalf to present at next years OLA Superconference. We will be contacted in May and final submissions are due by the end of June so that gives us a bit of time to decide if this is possible and refine the submission.

It was an online submission form and I did not get anything sent back to me so I am going on memory here as to what I wrote. It was very brief, I expect they will ask for more information later. For an explanation I said something like
The UGDSB Teacher-Librarians received a grant from the Ministry of Education TLLP to create a wiki that serves as an interactive resource for their teacher-librarians, providing easy access to a variety of exemplary lessons (complete with assessment) that target information literacy skills.
They also asked for three reasons why someone should come to your workshop that they could tell their boss and I said:
1. something about exploring how you can use a wiki to share information and best practices in a school library setting
2. something about collaboration between the teacher and the teacher-librarian which has a positive impact on student achievement
3. something about expanding our professional development opportunities
But don't hold me to this! ~Michelle
